In the program any continuous foundations, single footings, connecting beams and raft foundations can be defined. And raft foundations can be defined both with strips and without strips as flat foundation slab. The cross sections of the continuous foundations and single footings can be rectangular or trapezoidal. Continuous foundations are analyzed according to the theory of elastically supported beams sitting on elastic soils, and the single footings and raft foundations according to the theory of elastically supported slabs sitting on elastic soils. The structural analysis give the end forces of the foundation/ footing. The soil pressure under the foundation/footing is calculated for the most critical loading case. For the reinforcement calculation of the foundations/footings, such superposition values are used, which are obtained from the most critical loading cases under consideration of the earthquake, wind and vertical loads as well as soil pressures. The program selects the reinforcements of the entire system automatically. The soil stresses occurred under the foundation/footing for the respective loading case are compared with the admissible ground stress, and the result is advised to the user. In addition, the user can, if he wants, to cause the negative soil stresses occurred under the foundations/footings to be checked by the program automatically.

The drawing of the foundations as well as the calculation of the quantities and the preparation of the quantity report is provided automatically. On the reinforcement detail and application plans of the continuous foundations and single footings, also the relevant connecting rods and tie bars are shown. In the quantity reports, the quantities of formworks, reinforcements and concrete can be indicated in detail or in short form. Furthermore the program can draw foundation application plans including all foundation/footing sections, axles and dimensions. |
