General space frame systems

Any structural frame systems, which contain any inclined columns, beams etc. can be analyzed and drawn with ideCAD® IDS STRUCTURAL easily. For the analysis, the program considers any independent displacements of such nod, which are not to fixed to a rigid diaphragm such as panel or shear wall.

The program is not only suitable for structural analysis of reinforced concrete systems, but also for any non-concrete systems such as steel and wood constructions. Also such systems are modeled like a reinforced concrete systems by using the same objects such as columns and beams. The material properties and dimensions, modules of elasticity, geometrical characteristics of the respective elements as well as their moments of inertia, surface area data, and the supporting (boundary) conditions of the nodes or column-beam intersections joints (the partial tie ratio) as well as the lengths of the rigid cantilevers or other extremities can be defined individually on object basis. The end forces of the individual elements as well as the respective directions of these end forces are schematically shown in their own dialog windows.
