Data and file input functions

Thanks to the data and file input function, the user saves a lot of work during entering the data. With much fewer mouse movements and much fewer clicking can the data be entered, and the relevant commands are operated in much shorter time...

Objects can be defined serially by the persistent command function without getting out of any command. The same command can be repeated and used again so long as the Esc-key is not pressed. Using the relevant keyboard shortcuts and the auxiliary command icons during entering of an object reduces the time spent thereon to minimum.

Upon clicking on the right mouse button, a menu window appears on the display in which the most needed and frequently used commands are listed. In order to operate a command, it is not necessary to shift the mouse there and back until the marker is on the appropriate toolbar or on the relevant icon. Additionally, upon clicking on the right mouse button when the marker is on a certain object, a menu window appears on the display in which all available functions and commands are listed which are applicable in connection with this object.

The user is furthermore enabled to define any continuous or simple beams between and on any existing columns over the whole length or over any individual spans. The beams are automatically divided by the columns or supports into appropriate number of spans. If desired, the beams can also be designated, marked or numbered automatically. In a system with n-spans, the user does not need to click the mouse n times in order to insert n beams; only 2 clicks are sufficient.

Also, on an already defined beam, any columns can be inserted subsequently. If any column is forgotten to be inserted, the user can add it subsequently without previously removing any beam. Thereafter the relevant beams can be automatically re-designated or renumbered.

Any and all data already input can be modified or corrected subsequently. In a system where the slabs are already defined, any beams can be inserted subsequently from one edge to the other or over the entire side lengths.

In such a case, the program renews not only the slabs, but also the beams fully automatically, without any extra command must be entered by the user. No units or objects or elements need to be removed. The slabs are divided by the beams into appropriate sections.

When inserting the objects, the user does not need to pursue a certain order. According to the development of project or design, different objects or data can be inserted by the user in any order.

The user loses also no time because of input of symmetrical data. 3D symmetrical images of all objects can be produced by only one command.

In case of any error, the relevant erroneous steps can be cancelled and reverted by operating the "undo" command in the command category box "edit". By clicking the "undo" button appropriate times, the user can return up to the start of the respective process even up to the start of the project. The program can operated the "undo" command unlimited times. In return, by using the "redo" command, the user is also enabled to bring any step taken back by "undo" command to its former status. As it was the case for the "undo" command, it is also possible to go forward up to the end of the project by clicking the "redo" button appropriate times. The program can operated the "redo" command unlimited times.

Thanks to the highly developed object cloning command, as many as desired objects can be multiplied on any route in any intervals and in any number.

By holding the marker of the mouse on a certain object for a short time, a text box opens on the display in which all characteristics of the respective object are specified. In this text box, the geometrical characteristics and any other identities and layer information of the relevant object are shown to the user.

By the highly developed object selection method, the objects can be processed much more easily. Grouping of objects, selection of objects from a group by only one command and reselection of the last selected object are all time-shortening functions.

The feature synchronous 3D interface provides the user the opportunity and option of realtime working on the outlines, story floor plans, on the section and elevation drawings as well as on the perspective images at the same time. That means that any and all modifications and amendments made for example on the outline or any story floor plan will be transferred automatically and at the same time on all sections, elevations and even on the automatically created Perspective views and vice versa without any additional contribution on part of the user. Thus, the synchronous 3D interface facility solves the problem of reflecting of any modifications and amendments made on any drawing, even on the entire project, so that thereby much time is saved and eventually nothing is forgotten. Thanks to the synchronous 3D interface feature any modifications and amendments made on any two-dimensional detail drawings are reflected also on the three-dimensional images. Each and every modification and amendment made on any story floor plan of the building will be transferred automatically, immediately and realtimely on any sections, elevations, views or perspectives related thereto. Thus a realtime modification and amendment of the dimensions and characteristics of different objects on different stories through only one command is enabled.
