Zones and Slabs

The zones are defined at the story floor (architectural design mode). The name, area and the coating name are written on the zones. In case of any changes in the walls surrounding the zone, that will affect the area of the zone, the area on the zone is updated automatically.

The slabs are defined at story ceiling (structural design mode). In architectural projects, the slabs are important for the sections. At sections, the slabs form an integrity with the beams. Both slabs and zones can be included to the section. The zones will not be integrated with the beams, they will be drawn on the slab as coating material. Including or not the slabs and zones to the section depends on the choice of the user. To choose the objects to be included:

Image/idearchitectural00090000.gif Check or uncheck slabs and zones from the entities to use.

Click OK to return back to the Generate Section dialog. Click the Generate button to view the section.
