Secondary stair deformation
The Secondary Stair Deformation command is used to deform stairs from certain points to obtain different
arrangements on stairs. The secondary deformation points are located on the
railings and the line of travel. The motion of the points on the railings affect only
the form of the railings where the motion of the points on the line of travel
affect the line of travel and the tread width and stair balancing accordingly.
For secondary stair deformation:
Click Modify/Entity Edit/Stair/Secondary Stair Deformation.
The secondary deformation points on the stairs existing on the drawing area
will be marked.
Bring the mouse cursor on the point you want to move and left-click.
Drag the mouse. The point clicked will move together with the mouse. The
geometry of the railing or line of travel will also change depending on the moved
point.
Left-click on the point you want on the drawing area. The secondary
deformation point will be moved.
It is possible to fit the stairs to the necessary geometry by this way. It is
recommended to determine the locations of the points to be moved before this
process, by intersecting axes at the related points. You can erase these axes
after completing the stair deformation process.
Stairs organized in this way can be saved for further usage. The Save Stair command has been developed for this purpose. Any stair on the drawing area
can be added to the stair library by this command. See the “Save Stair” topic for
more detailed information.
