Delete roof element

It is not possible to erase the generated roof elements (rafter, purlin, lath etc.) separately by the delete command. The command Delete Roof Element has been developed for this purpose.

To erase any roof element:

Image/idearchitectural00090000.gif Click Modify/Entity Edit/Roof/Delete Roof Element.

Image/idearchitectural00090000.gif Bring the mouse cursor on the roof element that you want to erase and left-click.

Image/idearchitectural00090000.gif The related roof element will be erased.

The roof elements generated in group form, can be deleted in group form again e.g. the rafters are formed as groups for every plane on the roof. For this reason, when any rafter is clicked to be erased, all the rafters on the related roof plane are erased together. However, elements like purlin and ridge purlin which are generated one by one, are erased one by one.
